Stuart has 20 years’ experience in the Australian and overseas mining industry. He has experience with a wide range of gold and base metal deposits. He has experience ranging from grass roots exploration through to mine geology and resource estimation in both underground and surface mining operations. Stuart has also had extensive experience with project assessment, geological audits, project valuations and due diligence studies on both exploration and mining projects. He is a proficient user of Surpac, Vulcan and Micromine software packages. He is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists. He is deemed as a competent person for JORC 2012 and NI43-101 resource sign off on gold and base metal projects.
Mick has a wide range of expertise in geology and mining engineering since entering the mining industry in 1970. His experience includes due diligence studies, mining and geological audits, project management, mine budgeting, mine scheduling, underground and open-cut mine design, ore reserve and mineral resource estimation and reporting for gold, tin, tungsten, base metals, nickel, rare earths, magnetite, limestone and dolomite deposits, interpretation of structurally complex geology, design and supervision of diamond drilling programs, and lithological and geotechnical core logging.
Robert is a very experienced mine geologist with over 35 years in the industry. His work until the mid-1990’s was mainly in open cut coal mines where he was then Manager, Geology for the large mines in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria. Since then his work has been more general and covered mainly project management and industry training.
David has over 35 years mining and exploration geology experience post-graduation for a variety of commodities including coal, base and precious metal, alluvials. He has worked Australia-wide and overseas, including PNG, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, The Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Germany. Roles include: relief quarry/mine manager, dimension stone (black granite, Derby- WA), Sundance Mine (Au, Bachelor- NT), Amphitheatre Mine (Au, Paraburdoo- WA) as well as being a mentor to national geologists. David has gained experienced in drilling campaigns (RC, diamond), open-cut production, including grade control. He also has experience in MapInfo, Surpac and Vulcan software.
Peter is an Engineering Geologist with over ten years’ experience in Engineering Geology roles. Peter worked in the investigation team for the Victorian Desalination Plant and has worked in Paraburdoo, Tom Price, Marandoo, West Angelas and Newman, all major iron ore regions, also Mt Keith, Mt Isa, Mt Morgan, Century and Ranger. More recently he has worked on contracts in Senegal (West Africa) supervising and logging for geotechnical investigations to obtain sub-surface profile and conditions for determining foundations, and in Mt Isa monitoring geotechnical aspects of a proposed in-pit dozed/back-filled ramp to create access to a previously abandoned pit. His recent work in Ireland and the UK involved geotechnical investigations into subsidence on motorways, supervision and logging of trial pits, dynamic probing and window sampling, also reporting on pyrite degradation in building materials. His skill set extends across a broad range including, but not limited to, drilling supervision, soil logging, rock core logging (including training), mapping and monitoring (civil and mining operations), geotechnical design of development and geomechanical hazard analysis, design and supervision of horizontal depressurisation drilling during mining operations, monitoring water levels and conductivity, packer testing, and reporting.
